HOW DOES it work?

A physician with special training in cancer screening and diagnosis will examine you. After the examination and tests, we send you the report. If further examination or treatment is required, the Elizabeth Center provides you with treatment options and follow-up. We offer second opinion panels for patients who have been diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer and are looking for expert opinions regarding treatment options. This physician panel is comprised of oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialized medical personnel. If everything is allright, we send reminder cards annually to let you know it’s time for your screening.

The Elizabeth Center accepts private insurance (non-HMO), Medicare and MediCal. You may pay with cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.

Under the State’s Every Woman Counts program, women who live in California, who are over 40 years of age, are low income and do not have medical insurance are eligible for free mammograms.
