Work Site Screening

Services

Cancer screening

The Center offers affordable screening programs designed to detect cancer at its earliest stage.  Our cancer examination includes:

  • History and physical exam

  • Blood chemistry with 30 separate tests (including cholesterol, HDL, & LDL.

  • Complete blood count

  • Urinalysis

  • Stool Analysis

  • Digital rectal exam (DRE)

  • Clinical breast examination, pelvic exam and PAP smear (for women)

  • Prostate examination and PSA blood test

  • Oral cancer exam

  • Skin cancer exam

  • Mammography

  • Breast ultrasound

  • Flexible fiberoptic sigmoidoscopy

  • CA 125 ovarian cancer test

  • Chest x-ray

  • EKG

  • Second opinion service for patients diagnosed with breast cancer

Case management

  • Patient examinations include oral and written instruction to the patient about ongoing care and necessary follow-up services that promote well-being

  • If the patient requires therapy, a case management worker refers him or her to an appropriate TREATMENT center and follows the patient through the treatment and follow-up process

  • Additional services include advocacy, negotiation with third-party payers, individual support and education in disease prevention

Work site screening

Set up an onsite include screening at your place of employment.  The Elizabeth Center for Cancer Detection will come to your work site to provide affordable prostate exams (including PSA blood test), clinical breast exams and mammograms, pelvic exams, digital RECTAL exams, and exams for skin and oral cancer.

Second opinion panels

Our second opinion  panels are designed for patients who have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer seeking treatment recommendations or second opinions.
